Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, KKU, Joins State Ceremony in Tribute to King Chulalongkorn on “King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day”

On Thursday, October 23, 2025, Mr. Chakrawan Kleebbua, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, together with the faculty’s staff, participated in the state ceremony paying tribute on the occasion of “King Chulalongkorn Memorial Day 2025”, held at the King Rama V Monument in front of Nong Khai Provincial Hall.

The ceremony was organized to demonstrate loyalty and to honor the great benevolence of His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (King Rama V), the beloved King who devoted himself for the happiness of all Thai people, best known for abolishing slavery and implementing various significant reforms in the country.

On this occasion, Mr. Somphop Samitasiri, Nong Khai Provincial Governor, graciously presided over the ceremony. The event was also attended by the heads of government agencies, state enterprises, local administrative organizations, the private sector, and the general public of Nong Khai Province, who collectively laid wreaths and paid tribute in front of the King Rama V monument.

The participation in this state ceremony reflects the strong commitment of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, to uphold and preserve the monarchy institution, as well as to be part of driving forward significant provincial events in Nong Khai, fostering a sense of pride and appreciation of Thai history and culture.
