Teaching English as a Foreign Language Program Hosts “Beyond Borders: Cultural Exchange” to Promote Multicultural Perspectives
On March 13, 2026, at Khon Kaen University, first-year students from the Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Program, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, organized the activity “Beyond Borders: Cultural Exchange” to promote English language learning through cultural exchange with international students from Nigeria, Myanmar, and Indonesia.
The participating students are part of the “1+3 Two-Campus” teaching and learning policy, which aims to enhance students’ academic development, language proficiency, and adaptability in diverse contexts.
During the activity, students shared their experiences of studying abroad, discussed cultural adaptation, and exchanged perspectives on language and ways of life in different countries. The event was conducted in a friendly and engaging atmosphere, encouraging active participation and mutual learning.
This activity plays a significant role in strengthening students’ English communication skills while broadening their perspectives on cultural diversity and fostering their ability to live and work in a globalized society.
